The National School Transportation Association hosts two main live meetings each year - the Midwinter Meeting, held every January, as well as, our Annual Meeting and Convention, typically held in July. Both of these live meetings have informational professional development programs, and enjoyable networking events. In addition, NSTA has a Capitol Hill Bus-In that is set in concert with the Congressional calendar (usually March or April), gives participants a chance to engage with policy-makers and highlight the importance of private student transportation. Finally, the NSTA Fall Board is being revamped, in order to provide an opportunity for the Association to conduct its business in a convenient location.
The NSTA Annual Meeting & Convention (AMC) offers educational sessions, as well as other professional development and networking opportunities for attendees. Evening events at AMC also provide an opportunity to explore the host city, and host the annual NSTA Awards and Installation Dinner.

NSTA hosted the 2022 NSTA Capitol Hill Bus-In for the first time since 2019. Even though our schedule was different than it has been in previous years, the event had the most attendees in event history. NSTA also presented four Bronze Bus awards to Senators Gary Peters (MI) and Todd Young (IN), and House Members Julia Brownley (CA-26) and Jackie Walorski (IN-2). Senators Peters and Young, as well as Congresswoman Brownley provided videotaped remarks, in which you can find on our YouTube Channel. To follow the week’s events on social media, use #NSTAOnTheHill to see all the activity that occurred. Thank you to our attendees, sponsors, speakers representative and senators who made this event possible!
