The National School Transportation Association hosts quarterly board and committees meetings to carry out the Association’s progressive strategic plan.  These four meetings have a unique mission and serve as the foundation for members to enrich the professional relationships behind the yellow school bus industry.

NSTA Annual Meeting & Convention

The NSTA Annual Meeting & Convention (AMC) offers educational sessions, as well as other professional development and networking opportunities for attendees. Evening events at AMC also provide an opportunity to explore the host city, and host the annual NSTA Awards and Installation Dinner. The 2021 NSTA AMC was held in Milwaukee Wisconsin and was attended by close to 200 school transportation professionals who took advantage of the educational session and networking opportunities. At the event, 16 professional were recognized during the NSTA Awards and Installation Dinner and the Association inducted its 2021-2022 Slate of Officers. NSTA Fall Meeting

The NSTA Fall Meeting is normally held in conjunction with the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) annual conference in November. However, this year as NAPT will not be hosting their Trade Show, NSTA’s committees will hold their standing monthly committee conference calls as regularly scheduled and will host the Fall Board Meeting VIRTUALLY on Tuesday November 9, 2021. NSTA Midwinter Meeting

Plans have begun for the 2022 NSTA Midwinter Meeting which will be hosted in Key Largo, Florida on January 23-25 2022. Registration and Schedule of Events will be made available in November 2021. NSTA Capitol Hill Bus-In

The annual 2021 NSTA Capitol Hill Bus-In, normally held each spring, has been postponed due to ongoing challenges with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as Capitol Hill security concerns. NSTA leadership and Prime Policy Group are collaborating to evaluate dates for the next Bus-In. As you know, this annual event remains the centerpiece of our federal advocacy efforts and allows us to engage our representatives in Washington, D.C., so they understand and recognize the issues that face the school transportation industry. Now, more than ever, we need to present a unified voice that highlights the benefits of private school bus contracting. We look forward to setting a new date for the next NSTA Capitol Hill Bus-In date as soon as possible.  When final dates are confirmed, we will provide details regarding the schedule, as well as registration information.
