Peter Settle

PETER J. SETTLE is the President of the company Petermann.

Petermann was founded in 1921 by Mr. Settle's grandfather C. H. Petermann who founded the first school for special needs children in Ohio in 1921. Petermann is the largest provider of school and special needs transportation services in Ohio.

Mr. Settle's background includes: VP Corporate Development - Settle Service 1987-1992, VP Marketing - Laidlaw Transit 1992-1998, President - Petermann 1999 - present, Chairman NSTA Finance Committee, Former Secretary Treasurer NSTA. He has received several prestigious awards some of which include the NSTA Distinguished Service Award and School Bus Fleet's Contractor of the Year Award.

Mr. Settle is a General Motors Scholar, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a JD Law degree from the University of Cincinnati. The thing he loves doing most is spending as much time as possible with his wife, Krista, and their four beautiful children.

Membership Organizations include: National School Transportation Association, Ohio Association for Pupil Transportation, Ohio Statewide Directors Association, Ohio Department of Education Rules Committee, Ohio Department of MRDD Rules Committee, Ohio State Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association.
