Donald Fowler

DONALD FOWLER is the President of Fowler Bus Company, Inc.

Fowler Bus Company, Inc. was started in 1982 after buying out a local contractor serving three schools and adding the contract that our International Harvester Dealership had we served four schools and operated thirty yellow buses.

Mr. Fowler started work at the age of 10 sweeping the floor at his father's International Harvester Dealership and moved up to Service Manager for seven years, until the dealership was sold. Mr. Fowler then started his own bus company. He also operated 5-18wheelers hauling produce across the US. Additionally, Mr. Fowler operates a packaged ice company, a storage building company, and a Surplus Company.

Mr. Fowler has a farm and raises Angus cattle. In his spare time he enjoys fishing on his pond and lake on the property.

Mr. Fowler's background includes memberships in: Past President and present board member of Missouri School Bus Contractors Association, Past President and past board member of the Missouri Valley Ice Manufactures Association, Past board member of the International Packaged Ice Association, Past board member of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, Present 2nd Ward Councilman of the City of Richmond and is currently an Elder of the United Christian / Presbyterian Church.

He has received various prestigious awards including NSTA's Golden Merit Award and School Bus Fleet magazine's Top 50 Best Fleets in America.
