Timothy Flood

TIMOTHY E. FLOOD is the Executive Vice President of The Trans Group, LLC.

The Trans Group LLC manages over 950 buses with over 1,500 employees, serves over 50 districts in 8 counties, and transports tens of thousands of students daily. The company offers charters including special needs vehicles and school buses; routing, maintenance, and leasing services as well as total contract management. They have fleet accounts with American Transportation Corporation and U.S. Bus Corporation.

The Trans Group LLC gives back to its community through involvement with organizations such as: the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Rotary International, Knights of Malta, and Junior Achievement.

Mr. Flood is certified as a New York State Education Department as a School Bus Driver Instructor and a NYS Point/Insurance Reduction Program Instructor.

He is also involved in many memberships, some of which include: National School Transportation Association Board of Director, Committee Chair of the Association and Industry Development Committee Chair, and past Safety Committee Chair; New York School Bus Contractor's Association Current President, Co-chair of the School Bus Safety Competition, serving on the Contractor of the Year selection committee; NYS Education Department Commissioner's School Bus Driver Instructor Advisory Committee; Pupil Transportation Safety Institute Board of Directors; Member of National Association for Pupil Transportation and it's New York chapter, NYAPT; Past President of the Rotary Club of Chestnut Ridge; Past member of the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society; Adult advisor of Youth Against Cancer; and Junior Achievement Instructor.

Several honors have been bestowed on The Trans Group, LLC such as being named Contractor of the Year by the New York School Bus Contractor's Association in two separate years, as well as by School Bus Fleet magazine in a third year. They have also received the Golden Merit Award in recognition for Excellence of Service and the Distinguished Service Award, both from the National School Transportation Association.
