Magda Dimmendaal

MAGDA W. DIMMENDAAL is the CEO of Dousman Transport located in Dousman, Wisconsin.

Dousman Transport has been in business since 1962. The company provides student transportation for three districts: Arrowhead, Kettle Moraine and Mukwonago.

In 1972, Ms. Dimmendaal began her career in the school bus industry as a bus driver. Her career continued to grow and she held several other positions over the next 16 years including: Dispatcher, Driver Trainer, Manager and Vice President. In 1988, Ms. Dimmendaal purchased the company.

Ms. Dimmendaal was born and raised in the Netherlands. She emigrated to the United States in 1963 and had two children, Paula and Mike. When Ms. Dimmendaal married Paul Schmitter in July 2001, she now has five children and 7 grandchildren (plus three dogs and two cats)!

Ms. Dimmendaal's background includes memberships in: Hartland/Lake Country Rotary, National Association for Pupil Transportation, the President of the Wisconsin School Bus Association and a Board of Director of the National School Transportation Association.

She has received various prestigious awards including NSTA's Golden Merit Award and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
